Procurement plays a critical role in how organizations create value and manage change across the Nordics. Much of that work happens quietly, but the impact is real.
This year, we're excited to introduce the Nordic Procurement Awards as part of the Summit. The Awards are judged by an independent jury and created to celebrate the procurement work that mattered, and the people behind it.

CRITERIA
How submissions are judged
Clear criteria for what judges are looking for
All submissions are judged using the same core criteria:
-
A clear business challenge
-
Procurement's role and actions
-
Tangible outcomes and results
-
Strength of evidence
-
Impact relative to context (size, maturity, and starting point)
In addition, each category includes 2 category-specific criteria that reflect what that award is intended to recognize. For example, leadership impact or change adoption.
Judges are asked to focus on outcomes, not storytelling. View full judging criteria here.
Use of Ignite software is not required for any category except "Most Value Created with Ignite."

Can I nominate myself or my own team?
Yes. Self-nominations are welcome across all categories.
Who can be nominated?
Organizations, teams, and individuals with a Nordic presence.
What timeframe does the submission need to cover?
Initiatives must demonstrate outcomes delivered within the last 24 months. Ongoing programs are eligible if impact is already visible.
How are submissions judged?
Submissions are reviewed by an independent jury using published criteria focused on outcomes, evidence, and impact relative to context. Each category also includes one or two category-specific criteria relevant to that award.
Is the judging really independent if Ignite hosts the Summit and Awards?
Yes. Ignite hosts the Summit and Awards, but winners are selected by an independent jury. Ignite does not determine outcomes, and judges recuse themselves in case of conflicts of interest.
Are larger companies at an advantage?
No. Judges are asked to assess impact relative to context, including company size, maturity, and starting point. Smaller organizations achieving meaningful change are evaluated fairly alongside larger ones.
Can the same organization submit multiple nominations?
Yes, as long as each submission fits a different category. The same initiative should not be submitted to multiple categories.
How many finalists are shortlisted per category?
Three finalists are shortlisted in each category.
When and how are winners announced?
Winners are announced live during the Awards Dinner at the Nordic Procurement Summit on September 24 in Oslo.
What happens if I'm shortlisted but don't win?
Being shortlisted is recognition in itself. All shortlisted finalists are announced publicly, receive a digital badge, and are awarded two complimentary Summit tickets for themselves and a colleague to join the celebration on September 24th.
Will my submission be kept confidential?
Yes. All submissions are shared only with the jury and treated as confidential throughout the judging process. As part of the submission form, you'll be asked to confirm permission for us to announce and celebrate your work if you're shortlisted. This is required to complete your submission.
Do I need to attend the Summit to win?
No, attendance is not required to win. That said, all shortlisted finalists receive two complimentary tickets and are warmly encouraged to join us at Sentralen on September 24th. Winners will be announced live at the Summit dinner.
